Context
Bosch was founded by Robert Bosch in Stuttgart in 1886 and is not only a parts manufacturer in the automotive sector but also a technical training provider. Building service technicians' competence on new systems is as critical as the correct fitting of the part sold.
What sets it apart: training as a product
In most corporate learning management systems, training is content a company offers its own employees free of charge. Here the situation differs: courses are a product being sold. That means the platform must carry an e-commerce flow alongside the LMS — catalogue, order, payment and participant assignment.
