Creamobile took on the software side of hardware in two Bosch R&D projects. Both produced a physical safety device, and Creamobile built the server communication, backend services and user interfaces for them.
TruckDefender — trailer security device
TruckDefender is a device developed for trailer security. Creamobile built the device's server communication and the associated web and mobile applications.
The core problem in cargo security is the inability to react at the moment an event occurs: when a trailer is opened, or a vehicle is in an unexpected location, this must be known immediately. That requires the device to send data continuously from the field and the backend to turn that data into a meaningful alert.
Smarthook — worker safety device
Smarthook is a device developed for worker safety. In this project Creamobile built the device's server services, its user interface and its administrator interface.
In work-at-height safety, whether the safety hook is actually attached is critical data. Collecting that from the device and making it observable on the administrator side means safety supervision rests on measurement rather than declaration.
The role of software in R&D projects
In a hardware R&D project software is often an afterthought. Yet until the data a device produces reaches a backend, is processed there and becomes visible in an interface, the device itself cannot become a product. That layer is precisely the scope Creamobile took on in these two projects.
