Ucuzauc.com is an agency system selling flight tickets over web and mobile, with a dealer network that can be built on top of it. Developed by Creamobile.
In ticket sales, customers are lost in the steps between search and payment. That is where the design decision came from: skip the unnecessary detail and let the purchase finish in two steps. The interface was built so that the user moves forward without having to think about where to click next.
Airline integrations
The core of the system is that it merges flight data from different sources into a single set of search results.
- International flights — price advantage through Amadeus XML integration
- Domestic flights — THY-AnadoluJet (Websdom), SunExpress, AtlasJet, BoraJet and OnurAir XML integrations
Being able to buy the outbound and return legs from different airlines follows directly from that merge: the passenger does not have to run two separate searches.

The agency and dealer side
Ucuzauc.com is not only a sales site; it carries agency management behind it. IATA member agencies, sub-agencies, points of sale and web sites all run their business processes through one system.
- Many channels, one system — agency, sub-agency, point of sale and web site share the same infrastructure
- Online tracking and reporting — every sales channel is followed in real time
- Permission-based transparency — transactions and movements are visible within the defined level of authorisation
- Sales screen — an interface that lets agency staff answer customer questions quickly and practically
Payment and mobile
Purchases could use the nine-instalment options offered by Bonus, World and Axess credit cards. The system also worked alongside iOS and Android applications, so every service on the web site was reachable from mobile.
Why not an off-the-shelf engine
Ready-made solutions exist for flight search and reservation; the problem solved here was not search but managing the agency network. A sub-agency's permissions, a point of sale's reporting and a dealer's commission structure are each organisation-specific rules, and they fall outside the configuration space of a packaged product.
